The Center for Persons with Disabilities („CPD“) is located between the Ada Safari and handball courts near the roundabout, in the immediate vicinity of the Holmer trim trail.
The Center for Persons with Disabilities was officially opened in July 2010 and is a joint project of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Serbia, the Municipality of Čukarica and “Ada Ciganlija” public company.
“CPD” represents only one in a series of buildings on the Ada Ciganlija which pay special attention to people with special needs. It covers 700 m² and has a fenced multifunctional playground, ancillary facility with an office, locker room, toilets and storage, where equipment can be stored and an outdoor resting spot, providing a wide spectrum of possibilities for conducting many sports activities in one place. A playground adapted to the people with special needs is protected by a wooden fence and has a specific green concrete base designed for the blind and visually impaired.
